We stayed for two nights, and would've loved to stay longer. During our visit to Makrinitsa, we did several hikes in the area, and it's really a hiker's paradise. Highly recommended."

"We were there in July and used the hotel as a base to visit the beaches in the Pilion - it worked well having a base up in the mountains to return to after a day at the beach. I have to admit, the lovely swimming pool was a drawcard, so it was disconcerting to receive an email from the hotel informing us that local temperatures would be 21-22 degrees during our stay! However we did use the pool, even though unheated, and wish we had spent more time in it. Quibbles: you had to pay a daily...
