"This is quite an old Campanile, which hasn't been refurbished in many years. The walls (woodchip) could do with a decent clean.The rooms show signs of smoke stains too. "

"Our last stopover of our holiday before getting the ferry from Calais. The area was very busy. A lot of shops, restaurants and a hyper market, handy if you need to fill up for your onward journey. Check in was easy by a very pleasant man. I had to pay for our dog, €5 per night. He changed our room to a larger one as we had the dog. Normally down graded !!! The room was comfortable, especially when we got the heating on. The bed was huge bigger than a king size and comfy. Bathroom was adequate....

"Very friendly welcome and receptionist asked if we wished to speak English or French. Explained that the room was prepaid and what extras would be charged, handed us the key and directed us to our room. Room was clean, and well presented and a heater as it was a frosty night outside. The food was standard for the level of hotel in France although I did particularly enjoy the smoked herring starter. Overall an improvement on some of the other hotels at this level in the area for a stopover whilst...

"The hotel is quite basic but the location for me was excellent and there is plenty of convenient parking. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. The piece de resistance however, is the food here. The food is really excellent and I enjoyed the two dinners I ate here very much. There is a superb selection of freshly cooked food and a bar with good drinks to accompany. For this reason alone I would not hesitate to return to the hotel. "
