"Easy access and ample parking spaces. Don’t think there was a lift, but only one and a bit flights of stairs to negotiate to first floor. Staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful. Room was quite spacious and bed was comfortable, but en suite would benefit from a bit of a tidy up, overall it was fine. The breakfast was basic cereal, toast and croissants, with tea, coffee, and orange juice available, but was a good start to the day, and was included in room rate."

"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed. It was also a nicely quiet room with an excellent level...

"Things one should know: no elevator. You'll be hauling your bags up stairs...and upstairs... and then down to get to your room. On this visit we skipped the breakfast but we had it previously and it was wonderful. My brother-in-law booked an afternoon tea with us there last week.
