"The most perfect stay. The staff really do make the resort what it is and made us feel so welcome from the first minute until the last. Perfect location for snorkelling and kayaking. The view from the treetop bure was breathtaking although certain aspects of the room were a little tired and needed updating but this didn’t affect the trip at all. Would happily return to Nanuya."

"However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"This is a small resort owned and run by Fijian family. It's very authentic, quiet and has beautiful settings. However it's not a "western style type resort." This is kinda like glamping with meals cooked for you. All you do is relax and enjoy the scenery :-) The bures are spacious and built in traditional Fijian style, including bathroom. Simple but practical. Minifridge was an unexpected bonus. We didn't find any insect throughout our 4 night stay. Our neighbours though had a cockroach and some spiders visited them. But that's expected even in higher end places in this tropical environment. Food was delicious and so well presented. They collect rain water which is safe to drink (we were fine but for our kid we treated it with tablets or bought bottled water). Free wifi by the main building. The trip to Blue Lagoon was a highlight. Best snorkelling spot, so many fish! ($40fjd) The trip to the caves is worth doing too. It's about 40 min boat ride one way and it can get bumpy. ($125 fjd) We really enjoyed our stay at Nabua Lodge. We will definitely be back!"

"-Seaside bures were so lovely and cool even though no ac or wifi, the outdoor shower was beautiful -The staff are incredibly friendly and have made us want to come back just for kuata -The food was great with mostly buffet style. Not many options if you have diet restrictions though or allergies. -The dive team was super professional and did such a good job to help us all do a shark dive, we are super thankful. -I had a bad experience at the spa so I wouldn’t recommend it. -The Fiji night, signing dancing were all apart of giving us such a great experience. -The dining outside for dinner is super cute and romantic although no options if it rains. Highly recommend. "

"This was such a lovely relaxed but well presented resort. The coral reef snorkling is fanrastic from the beach. The staff were lovely the food was Its a perfect 3 star resort, would highly reccomend for a low key relaxed holiday. "

"When you book they will tell you that this is not a resort but it is really good. Did not understand why they wrote that to me. You have a huge house just for yourself with amazing garden or beach view. You have a fan mosquito net and some dimmers to make the light less strong in case you want to have it more chill and romantic. The family is very friendly. Clean and tidy. I had flowers in the house when arrived and they made sure we had a great stay. Activities are okay. There is a rock about 50m out of the beach and there is nice snorkelling with corrals."
