"This is a hot springs hotel. It is an older property still in good repair and must’ve been something in its bygone days. Everything works. It’s pretty clean. Rooms are large. Our room had a deep soaking tub. We also had a separate drinking water tap, with the wash and bathing water being sulfuric and therapeutic so that you could soak in your own tub. "Very pleasant stay! Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was eco friendly, which meant they only provided soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The rest, such as toothbrush, shower cap, etc were still available at reception for purchase. There was free 24 hr snack bar service, which included instant noodles, biscuits and drinks. A minor issue was the bed was slightly hard for my liking and the lighting in the bathroom was quite dim. But not a major concern."

"We had a nice big room with a wide window, good internet, and a big, if slightly hard, bed. The one negative which I take to be green washing is that the room was not cleaned which would be fine if the guest only stayed a day or two, but we stayed four days and the room should have been cleaned. "

"Very good for its low price. It is a simple hotel with complementary coffee and snacks in the lobby. Also, it is reasonably centrally located, a nice plus. As with many places in Hualien, a taxi is necessary at times, but we had no difficulty using Line to call one from the hotel. "
