"Comfortable and not expensive, it was a decent rest stop on our bicycle trip. There was nothing outstanding about the rooms, and I wasn’t happy with the cigarette ashes under the bed and the smoke smell in our ‘no smoking’ room. "A bit out of the way from the train station. Had to take Uber everywhere coz the bus was not on schedule maybe because it’s a weekend? Unsure about this. The toilet has no door and the shower room has a clear glass without curtains. Besides these the rest are OK. Love the jacuzzi in the room. Got free ice cream and nice breakfast too. Would not mind to stay again in this but hopefully the hotel can at least give some curtains to the shower and toilet area. "

"Hotel is a bit dated but in a great location. You can't be any closer to the night market and there are lots of great food options. We stayed several nights with Chiayi as a base. It was very quiet until someone checked into the room above us. On that night, it was clear that the soundproofing is non-existent. A bit tricky for light sleepers."
