"It's an easy walk into town approx 10 minute walk to Woolies. we had a car and found the location of Alatai handy to explore sites beyond the city.We had a studio ground floor appmt, the ensuite bath is dated but serviceable, the room was clean. overall very happy with our 6 day stay."

"Rooms are spacious. Bed was comfortable. Walls are thin if you have noisy neighbours."

"Very convenient and good choice for the city. Some bathroom features are a little tired but overall, rooms are large, you can use the Mantra pool and access to the Esplanade is great. Desk service was great: stored my luggage and gave me a towel so I could swim until checkin/room was ready. Desk staff friendly. Delighted to have a bath with my room. Some bowls and cutlery in studio rooms would be great. But otherwise, a good deal. "

"Conveniently located close to Mitchell Street without the noise. The best bit was the owner's flexibility around a late check-out to accommodate work commitments and a late flight out. Would stay here again anytime!"

"Checked in after hours. Could not get main access door open. No staff to talk to. Next day still no reception staff. Just drop access card in box and off we go."

"In a great safe position and easy to walk into town and to the wharf. Some parts of the unit had not been cleaned for a long time and the mould in the bathroom was not great. Very few cooking utensils if you want to make a meal but overall it was quite good."
