"This was the cheapest hotel of our stay but far from the worst. Friendly staff, nice rooms just a little bit scuffed especially in the bathrooms. No breakfast options but there are supermarkets close by. Kaufbeuren is a nice little place, convenient for exploring the area."

"Very nice and large room. In a very pretty setting. Have to call if getting here after 8 pm. Call before get here or no one is at the desk. They have a nice inexpensive snack fridge if you get in late. "

"The location is an easy 12 minutes from Castle Neuschwanstein. The rooms were large, clean, and had a great comfortable feel. There was a light breakfast available. The self-check in was very easy. There's not much in the immediate vicinity but plenty of shopping and food options just a short drive away. "

"Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wir hatten Halbpension gebucht, man konnte aus einer kleinen Karte drei Gänge auswählen, das Essen war sehr lecker. Auch beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es von allem etwas (Croissonts, Brot, Weckerl, Müsli, Ei, Obst, Käse, Wurst etc.) Unser Apartment war sehr groß (inkl. großer Balkon) und hatte auch eine kleine Küchennische dabei, dort wurden sogar Tee und Kaffee bereitgestellt. Uns hat besonders die ruhige Lage und die Natur rundherum gefallen. "

"The hotel is pretty has free parking and is only a 5 minute walk into the town. The staff were friendly and accommodating, we were in another building behind the main hotel and the room was spacious with an upper mezzanine area with 2x beds that the kids loved. In the lower area there was the main bed and bathroom, a small kitchenette and a living area with dining table and a sofa (bed). We had a large balcony with views to the hills. With 2x kids we are normally back in the room by 8.30 each...

"Super Bavarian Decor, vintage yet updated facilities. Management still has hands on with daily business and they know how to do it. I speak poor German, they do not require language to understand needs. A waiter, Bashir, figured I was American after one sentence, he went out of his way to make my dinner pleasant and greeted me by name the next day. Parking is a little tight but if you want the real deal of Bavarian food and lodging, I love the Frauendorfer."
