"The hotel building is 150 yrs old but I think it is very comfortable to live in. There are only 5 free parking slots. I had to pay for the parking outside. There is notice saying that pre-booking is required however I revisit their website again and cannot find any related information. "

"There are a number of restaurants in the area just check to make sure they are open. Hotel is conveniently placed to the highway to go north or south. Clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. "

"Lovely place for our 5 night stay. However as we were staying 5 nights or less the rooms were not serviced, so hadvto go to reception everytime we needed our towels replenished. There was no allocated parking so we only got to park outside our room once. One night we had to park on the other side of the complex as 3 motorbikes had taken up a whole park each. It was a pity there were no seats outside as we had some lovely days and it would've been nice to sit outside. Overall we had a good stay...

"At first, I was unsure as the room was above a bar. However, our apartment was incredibly spacious and clean. The beds were incredible and the kitchen well equipped. We had lunch at the bar below and the food was great. "

"The property is modern and would be fantastic for groups of friends/ family. The rooms are mainly timber inside with looks beautiful but gathers alot of dust so room was quite dusty ( which is uncomfortable for people with allergies or sensitive to dust ) the rooms were very clean other than the dust. No parking outside rooms. Well worth staying & we will return. "

"I have stayed at The Marquis on 2 occasions and both times had a great visit. From check in to check out it’s been great. The rooms are clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The beds are great so a good night sleep is on the cards. Location is quiet and the surrounds are beautiful. The view is top notch. The meals at the pub are excellent and good value. I will be back and can definitely recommend. "
