"We had a wonderful time at Waterberg Wildness. We stayed in the Valley Lodge. Note that there are several different lodges all a few km apart. We enjoyed a self-hike and also did the game drive offered. It is guaranteed to see rhinos as they live within the farm/reserve itself. We also saw giraffes in the park. "Beautiful grounds. Pool needs a clean but gardens and loungers and outdoor areas totally delightful with great views. Ideally located for travel from Windhoek to etosha and a nice room. BUT: food awful and both food and drinks overpriced. Great walk from lodge up to the ridge. - 3-4 hour trip and needs some scrambling but fab views. I’ve from national park for walks on plateau- don’t miss! "
