"Sofa bed not made up on arrival even though booking was for 3 adults. Although this was soon rectified when asked. Also only enough cups for 2 in the room but again, helpful staff sorted this. Lovely, friendly breakfast staff. "

Great size shower with good water pressure. Quite. Parking right at the back of the building. Easy to get in and out of the city by car. "Great stay overall. The staff were very professional and friendly. Someone was on reception when I arrived in the evening at c.8.30pm, contrary to what was said in the the note I received from Hotels.com prior (i.e. that reception closes at 7.30pm). There is plenty of free on-site parking, which was convenient. The building is beautiful, nicely maintained and the setting is quite special, in the countryside and beside the Derwent River.
