"Tried to put me in inferior room than the one I booked. After complaint was given a room with safe not working. Third room I was given was an upgrade but the internet worked horribly in all 3 rooms which were in different parts of hotel, different levels. Bed wasnt very comfortable. No way this hotel deserves anything close to the rating it has. One of the rooms the sink was over the toilet making it awkward to use. I arrived at hotel very tired from long trip the check in fiasco took over...

"This property, originally built more than a hundred years ago, has been a hotel for 20 years. They are friendly and kind. Despite not speaking much English, we’re more than willing to use phone translating to speak English to us. The location of the hotel is in a very nice are of town, near a large outdoor public park and several nice churches. The room is a basic accommodation- but spacious. A small fridge and hot water kettle would have improved the stay enormously as we couldn’t have hot...

"Hotel is very simple but clean, staff is friendly. Food is okay. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are pretty hard but we had good sleep. Pool is okay, there is sauna. The bowling area is really good with games, pool and bar."

It is important to know that rooms are only cleaned on request. Unfortunately the staff do not speak English or German. A translator is helpful. We felt very welcome."
