"Our room was fantastic! We had a terrace overlooing the river, very nice! The town has lots of dining and shopping and sightseeing, and is very walkable. The castle was just OK, but we've been in quite a few castles. This is a good 1880's restoration, and was a nice experience. The local wine is delicious!!!!!"

"Great choice for an overnight stop driving further south, but next time, would like to stop for 3 nights to take advantage of the hotel bikes and cycle up and down the Mosel. Lovely sunny terrace for drinks and to eat our evening meal, and the breakfast was splendid."

"Overall, a great experience. The staff were all wonderful, and helped/suffered an English-heavy traveller like me. Boppard is a nice small town with welcoming people and some great restaurants. The breakfast at garni Günther was a decent buffet spread. Same thing every morning, but the amount of options available was commendable. The only issue I encountered was no hot water in the shower for a couple days, but they fixed ASAP as soon as they knew about it. A short commute by regional rail or...

"This is a lovely hotel right on the river. We were in a room on the top floor with a small balcony, which had a great view. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. We found the beds to be a bit soft, but thats a personal preference thing. Parking is available along the river for 4euro a day and you get a ticket that allows free travel on the trains and buses locally for the duration of your stay."

"We stayed in the family suite with our 3 children, which was very spacious and clean with beautiful views of the Rhine. There was a little playground, ride on toys, and a trampoline outside, which was probably our kids favorite part, and much appreciated by us adults finishing our amazing dinner! The entire staff were friendly and helpful as well, despite our language barrier. Definitely a wonderful place to stay in such a beautiful area!"
