"Lovely situation, overlooking the river and with restaurants and shops in the street just behind. Staff were not very friendly - reception was very businesslike and the cleaner complained at 9.10am that we were still in the room and would not be able to come back later to clean the room! Staff at breakfast were very slow to respond to our requests. No parking outside on a busy street, so we had to drop our bags off and look for parking elsewhere, which worked reasonably well. "I had ordered a room in the hotel with at least Wifi. They ran out of rooms and tried to save the situation by offering us a cottage. The cottage had a terrible bad smell and there was no internet (Wifi) connection. Breakfast was terrible, instant coffee, only croissants, no proper bread and only one cheese and ham.
