We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house and grounds and shown the many amazing antiques and the unique salons. It was a delight to be here, but there are a couple of things to be aware of when planning a stay. Apart from a lovely breakfast, there is no food available. There are some bars and Cafes in nearby villages, but it might be difficult to find places outside weekends. This...

I am particularly grateful to Ianire on reception who, as well has explaining all hiking options and food options around town was particularly helpful with sorting out documents I needed after having had my passport stolen in Barcelona. "Staff do not speak English however will give out their way to assist you if you ask. However rooms were ice cold at night. Extra Blankets in drawers. Travel to and from villareal only available by taxi."
