"Nixson and his mother are lovely. He took time to make sure I was comfortable, and kindly shared his knowledge of the plants in his garden with me Fridge, hot shower, comfy bed, nearby shops, atm, restaurants Some mozzies but there are nets so I slept great I went to Batibou beach nearby, about a 1hr walk, or 10 min drive. My jaw was on the floor 😍 I enjoyed my stay. Thank you"

"An excellent outpost for us to drive the island on 6 individual day trips. Perfect room with a great sleeping mattress and all accoutrements needed plus a tea table on a covered porch. The Caribbean view was an awesome experience morning and evening. The restaurant was our stalwart for nourishment each morning and all but one evening. "Burkey's place is beautiful, well stocked and relaxing! We went with two young kids, and we enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes and make dinner, while still being in a unique Jungle setting. Would definitely recommend, especially to a couple or two couples traveling together. "
