"We stayed in the week of the transition, owners taking over the management after a leasing of the property. So, we experienced some of the service issues that one can naturally expect when a new management is arriving. Nevertheless the staff was excellent and predisposed to overcome all those difficulties. Otherwise the location is good and with an outstanding view of the Alps. Overall a very good stay."

"We were able to check in early, which was a big plus. Plenty of parking was available. Food at the restaurant was good. Communication was a bit of a challenge, since we spoke English and the staff mostly spoke French but there was a man at the bar/restaurant who spoke English. The elevator is a bit small and the winding road to drive to the hotel was a challenge but the place is beautiful up in the mountains."

What I liked is that it was very quiet outside our room, so having the windows open on a hot night wasn't a problem. The only thing is that there are no air conditioners in the rooms so can be uncomfortable at night. If you keep the windows open then the bugs fly in. It would have been good to have screens on the windows. The pillows were not firm and was uncomfortable to sleep. Overall highly recommended! "
