"We used the Inn for an overnight stay after visiting RHS Rosemore. It was very easy to get to on the A39 and had excellent free parking. The host called us in advance to see if we needed a table for dinner and gave us a warm welcome on arrival. The rooms were comfortable spacious and spotlessly clean. "Really nice room in a lovely coaching inn. Quality bedding , towels etc. comfy bed. Booked & prepaid thru Hotels.com and when we arrived we were a little taken aback to be charged an extra £20 for our little dog. It would have been nice to have known about this extra fee beforehand as it came as a bit of a shock , I didn’t get any reply from accommodation following my messaging them & also leaving a telephone message to say we’re bringing our dog. Other than that , a good stay. "

"This is a really nice old fashioned pub style accomodation but has a really good chef and therefore very good food. Slightly above the average price but well worth it. However there are other local options for dining. The room overlooked the bay and you could see surfers in the distance along with the small harbour. The famous Lynton to Lynmouth railway is just round the corner and well worth a trip for the spectacular views. Will definitely go back at some point."

"Very warm welcome by the duty manager Ran who kindly took our bags to our room so that we could order our late lunch in the bar. His hospitality and that of all the staff including Mavlouda in the restaurant was very attentive. The same for the bar staff whose names I unfortunately did not get. Our room was very comfortable with a large walk in shower and plenty of tea and coffee. The view was lovely"
