"Probably the friendliest, most chilled hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff couldn't do enough for you and always very welcoming. The hotel is a beautiful, 16th century building in the old town centre, which is amazing. I was in a room which faced to road so, sometimes, it could be rather noisy, but the streets are very narrow and it's an old building. Only issue I had was a lack of hot water in the evening but it wasn't a major problem. A 2 star hotel which makes up for it in many other ways."

"Inexpensive for size of room, internal parking (important to us) for 7euros, decent amenities but no kettle or cups, centre of town, bed comfy, bath (taps want a buff), staff friendly and helpful and spoke some English, secure (gated)."

"The property is very quaint and in the pedestrianised part of the old town, which is lovely and handy for an evening stroll. Our apartment was on the top floor, which was a little bit of a challenge with a baby and pram/luggage (no lift, so beware when booking). The apartment was clean but a bit "unfinished" looking with some raw edges to the kitchenette counters and a very exposed water tank in the bathroom. "The hotel is very old and tired. Nothing like the website claims. Does not have a restaurant. Claims to have 2 bars but has 1 limited choice bar. Definitely not for disabled persons as there is no elevator and the stairs are a little awkward."
