The hotel is within walking distance to the bus station and also a local beach with very few tourists and small market areas, though it is around 6km away from the more lively Uppaveli beach. The basic triple room that I was initially booked in wasn’t very good at all, with stained bedsheets and a dirty bathroom. "Terrible experience. Terrible customer care. The hotel was shut and they refused to refund me. We (my wife and my 4 year old child) arrived at the location and the gate was shut. The nice lady who was at the hotel (we were unable to speak to her in the local language) did not let us through the gate then called someone who told me that the hotel was under refurbishment hence shut.
