"Beautiful place to look at staff very friendly. Room was bitter cold asked for the heat to be put on but nothing happened. Very very noisey, disappointing to say the least. Wouldn't advice anyone to stay here . Taxi was €50 from Dublin City centre. "

"Easy to find, and convient to get to the airport for a morning flight. Nice standard hotel with a parking area in the front courtyard. The hotel has a great dinning room, bar and breakfast area. The breakfast was included in our room rate and was very nice. There was a buffet of juice, toast, and cereal items, and then additionally we ordered off a menu too. It was very convient to have a quick breakfast before our drive to the airport. Also we walked around the town and saw the castle lit up...

"Superb Stay!! I stayed couple of days at this hotel and everyone from the front desk manager to the restaurant staff have been amazing. Everyone was very helpful and understanding. "We booked this property last minute. From the moment we arrived and met Deirdre, I had a feeling we were going to enjoy our stay. Deirdre is very warm and welcoming. We stayed in Applewood cottage. It is a beautifully appointed cottage, I couldn't fault it in anyway. It was clean, beautifully decorated and with a very comfortable bed. We talk some time to walk the grounds of the property, it was lovely to be in a rural setting. I highly recommend this property as place to stay. Looking forward...

"Was a bit confusing getting to the location at first but we found our way. The size was perfect for our stay. Didn’t need anything big. The floor boards between the rooms was noisy so it was hard getting to the restroom quietly and not waking anyone. It was quiet, except when students came but that was when we were about to leave for the day. Shower was spacious and clean and hot. We really appreciated the tea and breakfast option. "

"Excellent pace to stay, close to the train station, pubs and bars , room looks modern, clean and fresh, although over the road from a busy bar we slept really well as the new windows blocked out any noise , we did have and issue with room keys on arrival but we sorted it with the help of another guest , we’d definitely stay again ."

"There is a full kitchen available to all tenants. It is stocked with fresh eggs, milk, fresh squeezed orange juice, cereal, granola, bread for toast and much more to make mornings so pleasant! Rooms were beautiful and remodeled but still antique enough to have the old Irish feeling. Malcolm and Angela were such a joy to have as hosts. we could not have asked for a better stay, hosts, and beautiful property to walk in (gardens/open fields)"
