"We came off the ferry at 5 am, and we were thankfully allowed to check Into a vacant room as soon as the reception was open (8:30 am) in order to take a nap before exploring the town. Giada was lovely and helpful with a booking error as well. It's a really cool, stylish little hotel in a very walkable area near the old port. We have a room on the back of the building without much of a view, but a cute little patio and it's dead quiet, which is perfect. The bathroom is nice and renovated. Trying out the breakfas tomorrow, so I can't comment on that. But we'd definitely stay here again. Grazie Mille! "

The reception is staffed only during check-ins or is on-call, which may not be ideal for all guests. Additionally, there isn’t much of a common area to relax in. The surrounding neighborhood is somewhat littered, but it offers plenty of local shopping and dining options. Inside the room, I found it to be larger than the typical European hotel room and very clean. However, there was an old, musty smell that detracted from the experience. The amenities are quite basic, and I noticed the absence of facial tissues. Another point to consider is the noise from nearby bars and restaurants, which can last until about 2 AM, potentially disrupting your sleep. The Expedia VIP got a bottle of wine which is always a huge plus. "
