It only took 5 hours for someone to give us a key to get in. Oh and don't forget to take your own cups and glasses to make up for what's missing. It's a great shame as if some effort was made it would be a great base for a cheap getaway. "

"First time in Font Romeu and this was a lovely place to relax. Ideally placed in the centre of the town it was easy to walk to bars and restaurants. Not everything was open due to it being between the seasons and with Covid 19 on top of that. "

I had been here once before for an afternoon and was very impressed and vowed to return. We had a room with tremendous views and the facilities were pristine. The food at breakfast time was second to none, a variety of continental and cooked breakfast choices. "Absolutely terrible service. Despite having a booking and contacting via email in advance to advise of arrival, no response and no Reception upon arrival. Phone number given is in another country but is also not answered. Left walking around the streets of foreign country for several hours trying to ask locals for assistance. Would never have expected this service and would not like it to happen to anyone else! "
