"Worst hotel ever - don't go there as there many other hotels that are much better for the same price. The shower nozzle was on the floor and nothing to hang it up - NO hot water ... the water had a bad odour so you didn't want to shower. The room smelt of vomit. The food wasn't very good. The best part was the waiters - they were attentive and humorous."

"We had a very warm welcome from the lady on reception and the breakfast staff were lovely. Our room was a good size with quality bed linen and excellent bathroom products. There was a great selection at breakfast and some excellent cappuccino made to order. We only stayed one night and I don’t really think that’s practical as it’s a bit of a trek to get to, especially with the road closures. We got horribly lost so arrived late, a bit tired and frustrated. "

"La posizione è ottima. Per andare al mare bisogna solo attraversare la strada e la via pedonale del centro è 100m. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. "This place looked like an old hotel that we probably bumped into this very year in a stepping-stone period towards its becoming a proper boutique hotel (perhaps I will go back next year to double check). As a matter of fact the reception was stunning but once you get in your room you have the feeling of having being trown in some kind of B&B that needs a lot of refurbishing asap. Staff was indeed very kind and professional (we left at 6.30 am and they were nice enough to make some breakfast one...

"This is a unique hotel, perched on the hilltop of Montesano village. It has old charm and lots of character. Our room was spacious and with castle-themed furniture. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."
