"Recently refurbished, but not complete ... smart TVs not yet connected properly, for example. Done up to a nice standard, but a few minor snagging and design issues. There was quite a bit of street noise outside my room, but it was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and attentive."

"Nice old coaching Inn style hotel . Room was small but comfortable. Breakfast excellent and freshly cooked . Dinner good but restaurant closed on Fridays . Reception very good- willing to adjust room to our needs- I chose a quiet room at the back as I like to open the window. Beautiful courtyard. Lack of their own parking is a drawback but I used free parking in a road nearby and there is plenty of paid parking available. Good central location. "

"Room acceptable and not too noisy as it was on the side away from the dual carriageway. Bedding clean, as was bathroom, except on the back of the door. Single bed mattresses made me feel like I would slide off them onto the floor so put them onto the floor - still very uncomfortable, unfortunately. Still, reasonable value for the price."

"Lovely location, good breakfast and superb staff. Pam and Becca were excellent. Room was warm and clean, good selection of tea & cofffee. Kettle, hairdryer iron & board. Easily to get to and withing easy reach of Leicester. Very busy pub and restaurant at night, but didnt hear a thing. Parking available but few spaces left Satuarday evening."
