"This place is a basic bungalow and for the price you can get something similar for much cheaper. In the middle of the night, a rat crawled across the floor and startled my girlfriend a lot. In the morning, we packed and I booked a hotel somewhere else at 4 am. We couldn’t stay here because we found it very dirty and not worth the price at all. It was very grimy and not even inexpensive for the location. I’d recommend staying somewhere else for the price or less. "

The staff were very helpful and friendly, food was the best we had in all our Nepal travels, and the location was great- right on the river in front of the jungle entrance! "Good place to stay for your safari vacation - nice and quiet. The staff was overall friendly, but some off the staff were not so welcoming or good at giving information - maybe just shy. Like when we checked in, there was no "welcome" or small talk, and no info on breakfast time or that you had to leave your key to get the room cleaned. The service was very good, we got our breakfast and packed lunch in time and a ride to the bus stop when we were leaving. Would stay here again if I ever go...

"Overall property was pretty good with garden area and outside dining. Food was acceptable. Off the main road and so less dust and traffic noise. Fan and AC unit worked. Room not as clean as it should be. Main problem, they had screen doors on each room which made a loud banging noise every time they were closed. With about 20 rooms that can make for a lot of unpleasant noise especially at all hours of the night. Also lots of people were smoking in all of the nice outside areas, not in the rooms...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Traveller's Jungle Camp. We were picked up from the bus park out of town free of charge and taken to the property, which itself has lovely gardens. The room was very nice, and the staff were fantastic. We enjoyed the tours organised by the hotel. The hotel is in the middle of town, so an easy walk to places. Happy to recommend."
