We had driven through awesome mountain scenery and arrived at the hotel to be greeted by George (can't spell the Spanish version) who gave us a history of the area. The rooms were simple but very comfortable, with a bed that we didn't want to get out of! There were 6 rooms in an outside block, each with a small patio area and chairs and a mountain view. "Top place. I had a triple room to myself. Quiet. Comfortable and close to some good bars. Quite a walk to the beach and Old Town but Gijón bike's make it a cinch. Only possi le downside is that they have no air con. "

"Fatal. Los alrededores del hotel es un barrio marginal e inseguro. Ademas en la recepción del hotel nunca hay nadie, siempre tienes que llamar a un teléfono y viene alguien. Pero sin duda lo peor son los vecinos ya que fuimos por trabajo y una de las noches no pudimos dormir de 01:00h a 04:00h de la mañana de los ruidos y cantes de los vecinos. "
