"Superb in every way. Warm and welcoming staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Cosy but spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed. Fantastic home cooked food and plenty of it! A roaring log fire and honesty bar for drinks and snacks. The views are spectacular and although in a quiet location, within easy reach of the shops. "

"We had a lovely stay at the Rising Sun hotel. Rooms were great, very comfortable with everything we needed. Restaurant food is superb, and breakfast was excellent too. "

"Had a family room in the annexe overlooking the river. Very spacious for us and the dog. The only negatives a bigger fridge would have been nice for a week's stay. And there was workmgoing on at the building next door so a bit noisy but would definitely stay again"
