The current owners appear to be doing a great job with regards providing a great value for money property just off the A1. The evening menu looked ok but I arrived a little late so just had a drink in the bar. As of 5/4/25 a pint of Madri cost £5.50 & Aspal Cider £5. Cheaper than most pubs I use. "Great little hotel. Only drawback is that it really is in the middle of nowhere, next to a housing estate and an office park. Good value however."

"This is a small family run hotel and resturant. The owner is the chef, and the food is excellent. He has an extensive wine list, so if you are a connoisseur of wine- then this is the place for you! The resturant is amazing, beautifully lit with candles. The owner is a lovely person, and made my partners birthday weekend one which we will not forget. Thank you so much for your friendliness, kindness and hospitality. "
