"We stayed at the Maritim Hotel for one night and I'm thankful it was only one night. A terrible night's sleep. Booming bass until 1130 at night. The room had no A/C so it was very hot, opened the door to let air in only to get cigarette fumes and people shouting. Finally fell asleep only to be woken by more shouting outside. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly. "

"Good overall. Only problem was the electric car charger at the hotel. We paid 200 NOK for charging overnight the car but their charger was not working. No energy added. They did not believed my car did not charge and did not give any refund. If you need to charge, better to select another hotel or charge somewhere else. Even if you have pictures with date & time, they do not believe the customer... Sad."

Klein appartement/studio met keuken, prima voor 2 personen. Goed bed, nette badkamer, lekkere douche. Bed was opgemaakt, handdoeken aanwezig. De kleinere kamers hebben geen uitzicht op het fjord. "This was a positive surprise! I guess many probably try to find accommodation along E134, but a detour to Vikedal for this hotel can certainly be worth it. I have stayed at several hotels during corona-times, but the breakfast here certainly was the best so far. The exterior of the hotel might seem second class, but the room we had and the nice river view was great. Absolutely recommended!"
