"Beautiful old hotel, updated nicely for the modern traveler. Very pleased with room comfort and amenities, and the overall value for the price of this stay. One small concern: The “laundry facilities” listed as an amenity on hotels.com for this hotel is misleading. Grand Hotel does not have guest laundry on-site, and they provide only the contact info for an off-site laundry that’s a 5-min drive away. "

"After the multiple attempts at being allocated the kind of room we booked we were happy. Not exactly garden view so much as carpark view, but it was at least spacious, clean and comfy with a patio to enjoy the evening air. Breakfast was good, with a fine range of cold meats etc"

"What a quaint place. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The Scandinavian vibe was so fun. We also saw a musk ox while we were there, what a special treat! "

"It was easy to find and had free parking. The rooms were very up to date, but small (as everywhere in Norway). The checkin was confusing because I was supposed to get a sms with the door code, but it never arrived. I got lucky because someone who worked there happened to come out of the door and gave me the code."
