"Hotel Maria was one of the loveliest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The staff were friendly and kind, the building spotlessly clean, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet, and the bed, pillows and bedding were SO COMFORTABLE. They have a wonderful lounge area where we relaxed every evening. "Now this was totally unexpected. I am originally from Pernitz, about 20 or so km from Wiener Neustadt, but live in Los Angeles. On this trip from the USA to Austria we were visiting friends in Ljubljana, and after arriving in Vienna we had planned to spend the night in Wiener Neustadt instead of Vienna to cut the trip to Ljubljana the next day shorter.
