"Just needed an overnight stay before an early morning appointment at Musgrove Park Hospital. This was a beautifully kept property, and so convenient for both the Hospital and for Taunton town centre. I am in a wheelchair, and although there was not a wheelchair accessible room available (it had already been booked), the staff found me a wonderful ground floor room that was totally suitable for my needs. "A very nice, clean, small room with a comfortable bed and choice of two chairs. There were some faint water stains on the ceiling but overall the decor was acceptable. The staff were uniformly lovely and helpful. A decent breakfast was on offer in the wood panelled dining room with views of the gorgeous gardens and the sea. A very pleasant stay."

When we arrived, we were told that they did not have a reservation for us and when we showed the email confirmation, we were told that they did not work with Hotels.com and that they did not have the rooms available. We were able to resolve the situation eventually, but not a pleasant nor welcoming experience!"
