"The Lafayette is an historic hotel and the rooms are furnished with period-appropriate furniture. It is right on the water front of the Ohio and Muskingum rivers and there is a nice waterfront walking area. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. We’ve stayed here multiple times over the past few years. "

"I ran out of tolet paper and had to use tissues. The cook was sick, so breakfast was not up to par, but they gave me a coupon for next time I stay. My room was so close to two busy streets, so could here the traffic outside. The room was great, very roomy."
