"Excellent overnight stay in Clody lodge. Very easy checkin and room very spacious for the three of us. Beds were comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Coffee maker and kettle in the room and complimentary water and biscuits. Would definitely return in the future. "

"The property was so cute. Lovely seating areas, there was a reading area with a number of books available. The reception area was nice and the staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. A little far from town but such a great space "

I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...

"Two day break from hotels. Fantastic rest stop, so able to do laundry and eat in Kilkenny town. Host Mel has a set a high standard of decor n amenities too. Definitely a 10 score "
