"Friendly welcome, lovely clean hotel with good a/c (it's 40°c outside!). Easy walk to old town. Nice fresh bread at breakfast 🙂 Slow process for check-in & Casino access, lots of paperwork. REALLY noisy cleaners at 8:00am, not restful!"

"We were biking thru Slovenia and the staff at Gorska Reka were super helpful- they let us store our bikes in their bike shed, and they lent us a phone charger. And the food was delicious!!"

"To say this place was fantastic would be an understatement. The apartment was so new, clean, and beautiful we wished we had stayed another night (we were only passing through from Budapest to Prague). Parking is easily accesible once you send your car registration to the hotel which was tricky for us at first but we managed to find it and get it done. This was a very last minute booking and by far is the nicest place we stayed in during our 12 day European trip. Breakfast was superb as well. "

The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves some amazing home cooking. The staff are kind, helpful, and multilingual, and they make sure each guest is treated like a king. "Parking became a bit tricky. We were there at the weekend when street parking was free - but it became difficult to find a place close by. Not sure if hotel has parking spaces of it's own. There was a section next to hotel with an open barrier but not sure who this belongs to and reception was now closed so unable to ask."
