"This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone). The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend."

"Just a one night stay, sadly. Easy parking just over the road. Lovely room in top condition. Earplugs kindly supplied to help deal with the road noise from the bridge, but we didn't find it overly disturbing. Breakfast very good, but at 15 Euros the priciest of our trip round France. They also seemed understaffed at breakfast as the same staff were having to juggle reception duties as well."

"We had a lovely time in a very clean, comfortable, modern hotel with a warm and friendly welcome. The big surprise was the quality of the food at the hotel restaurant which meant we arrived after a long trip and didn't need to get back out to Figeac to eat out. "A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. "We had to walk from train station to hotel with luggage in tow. Reception was closed but the were very accommodating. Rooms were equipped with everything we needed. Thank goodness the weather cooled down because there is no AC. Positives-Hotel arranged transportation back to train station, stored bags and lended us an umbrella. Also the dining room and courtyard looked quaint. Not so positive- the bedding was not comfortable."

Food very good, beautifully presented & great flavours. Our bugbear was the flies in the buffet area & restaurant at breakfast- maybe this was weather related as it had very wet then hot. We very much enjoyed our stay"

"It was a lovely hotel and not too far to walk to main attractions and restaurants. Pool was very nice and lovely to get a short swim in and relax after long car journey . Bit of a walk up from restaurant in evening unfortunately lift stopped at 8pm. Only thing check in is from 4 and could have done with it being bit earlier even though could park there ."

Dinner at the hotel was more expensive than I expected but worth the price. Would love to have been here on a warmer day to explore the grounds but it was just too cold. "A very stylish and modern hotel positioned in the centre of town. Don’t pay extra for parking at the rear as there’s plenty of spaces in the market place outside the hotel. All rooms have air con which was welcome with temperatures at 32c. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it seemed very popular with local people. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate."
