"This was a beautiful place—the curb appeal is very good. But you are basically on your own here. Breakfast had been advertised, but once I arrived, I found out food is available only in high season. If you have a car, then you will do brilliantly here, but we were on foot and the area around the hotel is a main road with traffic and many barking, snarling, free-wandering dogs. So you can’t walk anywhere from here. Again, if you have a car and go grocery shopping, there is a kitchen for your use...

"This is like a hillside garden paradise overlooking Teahupo’o and surrounding ocean. Staff is as accommodating as one can get. They are marvelous. The chef is a young man that cooks excellent meals. The bungalow was immaculately clean and one also feels living in nature. Like high quality glamping but perhaps better. The shampoo and shower gel is divine (Tiare)."

"We had an excellent stay here during our time on Taha’a! The owner is very nice and takes time to help organize anything for your stay. They have a restaurant on site that provides breakfast (fruit, breads, coffee) and dinner (3-course meal with prepared local fish dishes) for an extra charge. "After being ripped off by taxi and feeling despondent it was lovely to have a homely friendly safe feeling I could come back to. Tours will pick you up from here but other than yacht club there isn't much nearby to walk to and taxis are USD15 at least per trip. Breakfast is out with building under construction at the moment."

"From the time we arrived, until we left, our stay was extraordinary! The front desk staff was very accommodating with arranging trips and transportation. We were happy to have opted for the half board meal plan which provided a well done selection of meals. I would highly recommend the Raiatea Lodge Hotel."

"There is a steep hill up to the property and once your @ the parking spot, you must hike a bit more to get to the rental. Nice pool, very clean property! Owners reprimanded teenagers for playing ball in the pool, so I would have to assume that this property prefers adults over kids. Entrance to property is not well marked (but neither is any other property on Moorea!). "
