"The property is off the beaten track and Malgas is only accessible via a gravel road but if you want somewhere to escape and enjoy lovely views this is the place to go. The Boathouse is very well equipped with a spacious shower, all required kitchen utensils and surprisingly good wifi despite the remote location. If you are tall the sloping roof may be a challenge. "Alida and her husband welcomed us on first arrival and continued to make us welcome throughout our stay. There was a useful welcome pack and everything was as advertised. The shady verandah was wonderful complete with copious birds including cape sugarbirds and sunbirds visiting the feeders. The home made melk tart was delicious and very welcome.
