"Nice big hotel. Grand reception area. Rooms are getting tired and need an update. Lights missing in the room. No room comforts like coffee or tea facilities. Pool is a nice area but again needs updating as it’s very worn. "

It advertised a "light" dinner but it's more than a light dinner as it certainly exceeded expectations 1 hot meal which changes daily with a salad bar and soup on other. They hot drinks available 24 hours a day and some sweet treats in the afternoon all included in the stay. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choices and options. My partner is gluten free and they brought her bread and a chocolate buffet out...

"Really friendly staff. Modern and clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent, and importantly the coffee was actually good. 👍 so convenient to and from the train and options for dinner etc. "

"Lovely well kept old hotel in a convenient location about four to six? blocks from bus station. We were able to walk (but cabs were available) because the weather was cold but it had not been snowing for several weeks in late February. No elevators so stairs may be a challenge with luggage. Restaurant looked busy and good but we did not eat at the hotel due to other plans."
