"My room was immaculate. I go every year the same few weekends. The atmosphere was great. The restaurant “Mainland” had stunning seasonal decor, great food and music. My son really enjoyed the pool, arcade and golf area. "

"If you are visiting LBI, you cannot go wrong with the “Surf City Hotel”. I want to address something that was mentioned regarding the rooms situated above the restaurant. Other reviewers have mentioned that when the restaurant is crowded or they have a musical guest that the sound penetrates into the room. While this is true it doesn’t detract from the enjoyment or privacy of the room. My room was right above the restaurant and while I could hear spillage from the restaurant, it can best be described as distant sounds. The hotel spells this all out when you reserve a room above the restaurant as well. Hope to see the folks at SCH again next month."
