"It was an okay "hotel". The shower curtain had mold all over it, the whole building needs decorating or something to make it fresh as looks quite run down. Was okay for 2 nights but can get more value for money else where. "

"Reception closed with poor signage to the nearby Campanile reception. Lack of sleep due to neighbouring rooms partying all night. Man those mattresses need some oiling after all that squeaking. Definitely not sound proofed rooms"

"Nice and friendly staff. Clean room and premises. Very practical and easy to access by car and to park near the main entrance. Perfect place for a stay over when on a road trip. However, the restaurant is closed on weekends and there’s nothing available to eat unless you take your car again to go someplace or you order fast food. "

"Perfectly situated in the centre of Fontainebleau and opposite the chateau. Napoleon underground car park right opposite but be aware that your vehicle must be under 1.85m so not possible for us. This should be made clear on the hotel details as it’s difficult to reverse onto main road. Foyer and bar are really stylish if a little cold with a drain type smell on the way to the lifts. "It’s only 3-minute walk to the palace and close to restaurants and supermarket and fruit store. The only concern is the ventilation of the room and I saw mold buildups on the tiles of the shower room. The staff immediately cleaned it after I bring out this problem."

"A lovely budget hotel in a Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome, clean, quiet room. Bathroom small by North American standards but not out of the ordinary in Europe. Close to everything, Fontainebleau Chateau is close, ( to enter the grounds) and the ticket booth about 15 minutes away. Place de la Republique is perhaps a 7 minute walk away, with a lovely market three times a week. Dining options are many, varied and close by, (il Primo Biaccio a great Italian place). "This is the prefect stopover off the A6 near Fountainbleu. Nemours has more gorgeous bridges and hanging flower baskets than any town in France that we have ever seen."

"Good stay for the price. Pretty small room with no frills. A bit scruffy, but manageable for a single night stopover. We did have some trouble with the air con not functioning properly, which made for a very warm stay in late August, but at least we were able to leave the window open at times for some air (and road traffic noise). The parking situation was also a bit confusing (we weren't the only ones in the same situation), but we were able to resolve it in the end without too much headache; it just was an unwanted stress after a long day of driving."
