"The hotel was very good, all the staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast selection was amazing, never short of food and unlimited teas and coffees was welcome. It was very clean and tidy. It wasn't just the building that made the hotel special but all the staff, a very pleasant stay."

"Great location and wonderful view. I had the double room with castle view. It’s very small for 2 people but lucky I was travelling alone. Very little room for two people to move around. Very small bathroom as well. Disappointed that I was charged a fee to mind my suitcase. That was disappointing. But the young lady receptionist was super helpful and delightful and made up for it. She was great. "

"I will say that location wise it was excellent. It was about 300 feer walk from the Royal Mile. Tram from airport was great as a station was about 10 minute walk as was Waverly train station. So many tourist spots nearby but you do need.to be able to walk. Only problem with room was almost no area for putting clothes. No drawers just a table and pullout bed top. There was an area for hanging a few things up. Bed was very comfortable after long days of activities. Security seemed a top proiority...

"Self check in and check out with detailed procedure by emails. Female staff on our first day of arrival told us the ways and directions of going to town centre. Free parking was available. Transport to town centre is just outside hotel and is very convenient. A shopping mall is just around corner. Restaurants just a short distance from hotel."

"Pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Beds were super comfortable. Shuttle bus was convenient. The only downside I would say was the quality of the meal we had at the restaurant. I had a steak pie which looked and tasted like a cheap frozen one. It was expensive for what it was. "

"Room and hotel were clean. Breakfast was busy and the staff work hard and swiftly clean to get next diners in. Barely heard any other guests when in my room, not the outside traffic. The tram stop was just across the road and takes about 10 mins to princess street. Buses were also available. Uber was about £8 from The Playhouse theatre. I'd stay again "
