"Hard to spot on from the street, the lobby/restaurant area is very nice and cozy. Staff super friendly, maybe even a bit shy but super nice people. Carpet and inside of rooms ... very old looking... it definitely needs a lift. But overall a good stay."

"Set in the quiet countryside this was a very nice and comfortable hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of choices catering to both European and North American tastes. I dined there several times and had really good meals. It was a perfect starting point for my trips to various Bavarian destinations (Munich, Memmingen, Neuschwanstein, Rothenberg ob der Tauber, and Regensburg. "We arrived at the hotel late in the evening as the dinning room was closing. The hostess was extremely nice and offered to make a green salad with meats and other cold food choices, as we had not had time for an evening meal. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast the next morning offered a variety of foods."
