"I loved this place. Well located and luckily very well lit (there was a ton of fog when I arrived and their large, well-lit sign made all the difference. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very elegant. There is a stunning view of Mt. Etna, and their chef is excellent. Can't wait to come back! "

"Our stay at Za' Maria was beautiful. The hotel is quite out-dated but made up for this by being kept so clean. I couldn't find one single fault there. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Definitely going back to stay there when we are in that area. "

Unfortunately for me it was raining and cold, and after a horrifying ride up the mountain, I was greeted by the dog that jumped up on me and got my pants very muddy (I love dogs but he was extremely muddy and kept jumping on me).. I had to ask for the bottle of wine and that came with the room. The girl that checked me in was not very nice. You can hear the neighbors come in and out because the main door is large and slams. "We had a wonderful stay at this B&B! We were only there one night but wish we could have stayed a few more days. This B&B is in the country, on the outskirts of Acquedolci (just a few minutes drive away) so it was very quiet. The rooms were a good size and extremely clean, we had a fantastic sleep! We spent 3 weeks travelling all over Italy/Sicily and this was by far one of our most favourite places we stayed. The owners were fantastic and friendly and breakfast was amazing! I couldn't...

"Nice room with private bathroom, shared full kitchen and balcony view of the mountains. Very close to historic city centre with good restaurants. Owner was friendly and spoke good English- we liked his restaurant recommendations. Close to main road and easy to find. Parking on street in front. Cold cuts, bread, cheese and 2 jams made by owners wife, plus fruit for breakfast."

"I'm sure on a nice day, this place is absolutely awesome. I had to ask for the bottle of wine and that came with the room. The girl that checked me in was not very nice. You can hear the neighbors come in and out because the main door is large and slams. There is no quiet way to close it. The morning was better. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and the breakfast was terrific with so many choices. I would try it again, but on a nice summer day "

Wonderful Hotel
