The area has a lot of people biking, hiking, in the winter skiing and shopping with great restaurants downtown. I am from the northeast part of America and it reminded me of some of the old hotel/Italian resorts in the Catskill mountains of New York. They had breakfast every morning if you chose that. While not a ton of parking it is available in a covered garage with options for electric plug-in. Check-in fast, easy (we had to do the after hours check-in/out with prior notice).
