"Nice location and a great hotel. The problem was the water wouldn’t get hot and the A/C didn’t work despite alerting the front desk. The breakfast and service was top notch. We ended up leaving a day early. No refund for the last day. It worked for our needs, but the two most important factors were the water and air not working correctly. "

"Its position on the beach makes it worth paying extra for a room with a sea view. I did that at check-in and I felt it was money well spent. I've been three times to the Continental and the staff are always cheerful and helpful and the breakfasts, particularly the buffet, is excellent. Parking is easy if you go slightly off season, and if you don't have a car, there is a local bus service that stops right in front of the hotel gardens and car park making access to everywhere else easy."

"Staff and restaurant was great, hotel itself was fine. Not much around the area, we specifically booked this hotel because of the pool. We knew we would be travelling for 8 hours on a hot day by motorbike so wanted a hotel with a pool. Went to use the pool and it was "closed for the season" apparently closed on the 1st Sept... we were there on the 2nd.... might seem petty but that was the primary reason we booked the hotel... there is nothing noted about pool closure on Expedia or the hotel...

"This was a surprising little gem, very modern, with lovely design aesthetic. The room was large and clean, access was easy as the host also spoke English and contacted me by whatsApp to confirm my arrival. This was close to the beach and main street, but quiet, I would book here again. "

"Good points:- Location, 5 minutes walk to the beach. Inexpensive in February. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Free on street parking. Pet friendly. Short drive to Garrucha and Mojacar. Points to improve on:- Sofa bed (used as a sofa) was like sitting on a thinly cover pallet, very uncomfortable. If you have a dog that likes to bother cats, this is the place for them. There are cats everywhere. The on site restaurant and shop not open until May. No toiletries in the room. Soundproofing...
