"Spotless rooms. decor was a bit old though and bizarrely, apart from one hook on bathroom door there were no hooks to hang towels ! A small fridge in the room would be good, along with maybe actual glasses instead of disposable plastic covered paper ones. Finally the shower connected to the tap with no fixing on the wall is a really BAD idea and impossible to have a proper shower! Loo paper dispenser was more akin to petrol station WC that a hotel. "

"This is an excellent hotel, with very helpful and friendly staff in both the reception and restaurant. The fine dining was world class and every dish was a flavour and taste bomb"

"There was no elevator, but staff was extremely helpful. Railing in stairs was difficult to use."

"Very good stay as always. Excellent restaurant next to hotel, rooms very comfortable, good bedding and overall condition of the rooms. Towels could do with and upgrade and the shower screen does not stop the bathroom getting wet."
