"The check in was very easy and receptionist friendly. Room was basic but clean and a/c good. The hotel is on the main road, but room was quiet and slept well. There was parking available in front of the hotel on the service road"

"Standard Ibis Hotel, with no frills. Easy to find, (site is shared with an Ibis Budget) secure off street parking. Not the most glamorous of locations on a light industrial area, but for a transit stop it is close to the Autoroute. Efficient reception. Room is as to be expected at this price point - large enough, with bathroom that was a little tired, but OK. Aircon worked, but we kept it off to save power. Wifi good. Did not use the restaurant or bar."

"Requested no stair access to the room when booking, was still given first floor. Sink in room cracked looked like it was about to fall off, reported to reception as I didn’t want them to think I’d done it and they said don’t worry about it. Bed was comfy and room clean overall okay for an overnight stop "

"Excellent stop off hotel for the Spanish / French border crossing, access from the motorway takes seconds, shops around the area are duty free, so stocking up on cigarettes or booze is easy, hotel itself is spotless, excellent staff, good breakfast, would have no hesitation in returning, actually started & ended our Euro trip with a night here. "First impressions on arrival of the outside weren’t good. The hotel was not what we were expecting for the price. A clearer description of location would have been helpful. It’s in a built up business area. However after entering the reception area, we could see the courtyard which was well kept. Also luckily the restaurant is very good. Simple, well cooked French food, at a reasonable price. The room was small (as stated in description,) and basic, bathroom could do with an update. "

"We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). The dryer did not work so back to hotel with damp washing. Immediately hotel stepped...
