"Our parking was a garage @ 15€ per night. The free parking could be difficult. The hotel is well situated to the old town. Good restaurants and an interesting city. Our bedroom was tired and had no extra facilities such as a kettle and the bathroom was small. Breakfast was good and meet the needs. Staff were very helpful. "

"It was decent. There are safes in the rooms but ours didn’t work. When I told the owner , he said that nobody were using them anyway. I said that people probably didn’t because they were not working, although they looked brand new. He responded that they needed batteries, but they didn’t need any since nobody was using them. This is definitely the wrong answer to qualify for being customer oriented. Some staff lacked grooming."

"For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "We loved this hotel. Amazing setting on the river with picturesque views in two directions from our corner room. Utterly charming in every way. The self serve Italian coffee machine in the salon is fantastic. Walk to everything in the delightful village with many riverside park areas. We took short drive to Brantome for an excellent dinner.
